As an advocate for successful learners, I work directly with students, families, and staff to decrease school transition confusion and increase assurance in our students’ lives. I will pledge to assist our students and help them overcome the unique challenges they may face when they are trying to meet and exceed their goals. The purpose of my work, as an MSTC, is to give support and establish connections with the schools, installations, and community resources.

Military Student Transition Consultant -Russell County School District was founded with one purpose - to build a space for all students to grow, learn and create with each passing day. In partnership with LEA, MCEC provides professionals focused full-time on personalized transition support and positive connections for mobile students and parents.

As school-based first responders, Military Student Transition Consultants are experts in the following topics: school moves, military lifestyle, navigating the special education process, academics, college and career readiness, social-emotional issues, and conflict resolution
